So... it may not be the weight after all that's wrecking your knees?

Could the extra weight that most Americans are carrying around just be inconsequential to their knees wearing out prematurely?  Remembering, correlation does not imply causation.  Meaning, maybe the extra weight really has nothing to do with those bad knees?  The gut microbiome is once again suspect in another condition, osteoarthritis.  This isn't new, I've been reading about and experiencing this with daily patient interaction for years.  Your gut bacteria have a lot to say about your general inflammatory markers, or the degree at which your body maintains a constant low grade inflammatory condition.  The end result - osteoarthritis, atherosclerosis, autoimmune, degenerative joint disease, etc...

The solution - better diet, exercise, stay healthy, sleep... easy right?  Nope, in fact getting regular exercise, adequate sleep, a healthy diet and positive view of the future and life in general is one of the most challenging aspects of the human condition.  But you can do it!

Still waking up to an alarm clock?

There's a better way to wake up!  How many times have you heard your alarm clock going off and immediately had some negative thoughts.  Or, it's going off and you fumbling around looking for the snooze on your phone, you knock it off onto the floor, you try to ignore the buzzer and pull the covers over your head and try to get in a few extra winks.  There's a better way.
